(William) Lonnie Lykes - FSU “84”

Hello, my name is (William) Lonnie Lykes.  I am the founder and Head Performance Coach of the Performance Changers program, a non-profit organization based in Lansing, Michigan.

Our mission as an organization is to provide individual mentoring and instruction to young athletes from various social-economic and ethnic backgrounds to improve their performance levels in the areas of physical fitness, academic awareness and life skills applications that will help them develop and cultivate a healthy, productive and positive lifestyle.

I grew up as an athlete in the Lansing area sports community. I have coached football at the college, high school, and youth levels.  I can understand the mind set of young athletes who have a desire to reach a higher level in their chosen sport. I want them to have excess to a quality mentoring and athletic training program, and other resources to elevate their skills and attitudes.

Young athletes in the Lansing area should be exposed to athletic and mentoring programs that will help enhance their performance on the playing fields of life. Our program provides the young athletes at no cost to participate, a excellence mentoring and athletic training program.  I believe, if the young athlete has the strong desire to improve their life performance, the Performance Changers organization and staff has the time to provide them mentoring and athletic training.

The Performance Changers program predominantly works with young athletes that reside in Clinton, Eaton and Ingham Counties, Michigan.
